Diana Z. O’Brien an associate professor in the Department of Political Science at Texas A&M University. Her research and teaching interests include women and politics, representation, political parties, executive branch politics, european politics, and research methods. She has published articles on these topics in journals including the American Political Science Review, American Journal of Political Science, Journal of Politics, Politics & Gender, and Comparative Politics.
Dr. O’Brien has a Ph.D. in Political Science from Washington University, and a B.A. in Political Science from Hanover College. Previously she was an Assistant Professor of Political Science at the University of Southern California and a Associate Professor at Indiana University.
